“ Love this place!!! Quality of food is top notch and the portions are generous. Their juicy dumplings are my favorite, but everything we have tried is always delicious. Come hungry and be ready for leftovers! The staff is always attentive, and my favorite is the inside of the restaurant. It feels so homey inside, perfect to enjoy some dumplings and Chinese food! ”
“ Edit on March1, 2025: Went again since we fell in love with the food here but they did not allow my service dog this time. ”
“ Saw a viral tiktok mentioning this place and had to stop in. So glad we did. The ambiance is nice inside, and everyone working was great. We ordered the wontons in chili oil, juicy dumplings, pan fried dumplings, mongolian beef, crab rangoons, and spicy beef noodle soup. Everything was delicious. The soup dumplings and mongolian beef were BOMB. Crab rangoons are my guilty pleasure and these were some of the best I've ever had. On top of that, all of that food only cost $75. Good quality, good portions, and good prices. 10/10 would recommend. ”
“ This place is just simply amazing! Mary was so sweet, caring, and attentive. We enjoyed every single dish, you can tell everything here is made with love! I especially loved the honey walnut shrimp, it was soooo delicious! Not to mention it's so cozy inside. Can't wait to come back again soon! ”
“ We were in the mood for dumplings and this spot exceeded our expectations! It's a small restaurant, and they were pretty busy. Service was quick and they were friendly. Very homey atmosphere. ”
“ Ma's Dumpling House is a cozy hole in the wall in the 99 Ranch plaza serving Chinese food. They may be a dumpling house, but the menu is extensive and includes more than you would think. In addition to pan-fried dumplings, we also got the onion pancake and sweet and sour fish. The fish came out first and it was my favorite thing that we got. I liked how gooey and starchy it was, and the sauce was very yummy. It's good with steamed white rice. The onion pancake was good, but not really to my preference. It was quite chewy and I usually prefer it flakier. The pan-fried dumplings were good too, and my sister really liked them. The service was friendly and attentive. The lady came and took our empty plates without us needing to ask. Overall, Ma's Dumpling house is a good local spot to scratch an itch for Chinese food. ”
“ Ma's Dumpling House (a change in ownership) We've been coming here off and on since the Pandemic. The place is same with opposite wall balancing the wall art (other than pictures of dishes). We were quickly greeted and seated. Not too many good Chinese restaurants in North Orange County. This place is decent but dishes tends to be super salty and the sauce on the crispy noodles was out of control. The dishes we like best are the stir-fried string beans and chili oil wontons. The pan fried dumplings and green onion pancakes are okay. Lastly, we like the art on the wall, the depictions of cats doing various things. Always brings a smile to our faces. ”
